For one of our clients located near Grevenmacher, Sofitex Talent is currently looking for a

LINUX Senior System Administrator (M/F)

She/he will contribute to the administration of the core infrastructure, HPC system and Cloud of company:

• Installation, management, and maintenance of virtual and physical servers, workstations, and IT equipment in general;

• Installation, management, and maintenance of services in Linux and windows environment;

• User management.

Required profile

Must Have Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or similar;

• 5+ years of proven experience in a similar position;

• Proven expertise in Linux environment ;

• Proven expertise in Linux administration ;

• Good command of infrastructure and networking virtualization, VMware based;

• Good command of Active Directory;

• Good command of networking (CISCO and DELL);

• Good command of infrastructure backup tools (e.g. VEEAM);

• Good command of monitoring tools (Nagios, Observium, SolarWinds);

• Command of Firewalling (Checkpoint preferred);

• Command of automation tool (i.e. Ansible);

• Command of Cloud Infrastructure;

• Command of principles of security;

• Experience of administration of Kubernetes cluster;

• Good English skills (both spoken and written);

• Teamwork;

• Valid work permit for EU

• French knowledge is an asset
